We have assembled a list of questions & answers that we get asked on a frequent basis.
If you have anymore questions feel free to open a ticket with support.

We guarantee our network, power & services will be available, at minimum, for 99.9% of a given month.

Some exceptions to this policy are:

  • Scheduled maintenance windows, announced 24 hours in advanced
  • Upgrades ordered for your service
  • Suspension of service (AUP violations, billing, etc)
  • Software installed on your service
  • Denial of Service attacks/viruses or just generally a compromised service
  • Errors caused by the account holder

If we fail to meet this guarantee, any account holder in good standings is open to request a credit within 1 week of the outage.

Pretty much anything you like as long as it abides by our Acceptable Use Policy :)

Setup is normally done within a few minutes of ordering and payment is made.
Please make sure that all of your billing information is accurate to not cause any fraud check delays.

Sure! Simply open a ticket with support and we can upgrade your plan at any time to a higher package. If you require a custom plan, please contact sales.

You're welcome to reinstall your VPS all you like from your control panel

All invoices are pro-rated to the first of the month. Any order placed after the 20th of the month will be charged the rest of the current month as well as the following month.

Short answer - No.

Long answer - Normally we don't allow refunds. In the case of any sort of downtime, users with up-to-date accounts are welcome to claim an account credit.

No, none of our plans include any sort of management, you're expected to have (or willing to gain) knowledge of linux.

If you're needing help with your services, we recommend you purchase a plan with Frantech.

You're welcome to use any firewall of your choosing; Linux provides it's own built in firewalls. Please remember to leave the following ports open before locking your firewall down.

TCP Port 22 - SSH (or whatever port you may have moved SSH to)

Forgetting to open these will end up with you most likely losing access to your VPS, resulting in you either needing to use the remote console to fix it, or ask us for assistance.

At this time we don't provide backups of any VPS related data. We plan to change this in the very near feature, though :)

Upgrades usually take anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours to complete fully, depending on what changes are needed. A staff member will work with you to schedule a time that best suits your needs to cause the least disruption for you.

As mentioned above, all plans are unmanaged so you'll have to work as best you can to resolve this issue. If you feel the issue might be caused by an error on our end you're welcome to log a ticket and we'll see, but generally you'll have to either use the console or reinstall.

With that being said, you're welcome to come by our IRC Channel to see if someone can give some pointers.

All plans come with 1x IPv4 and 16x IPv6. Additional IPv6 can be requested at no cost, additional IPv4 are available for 1$/mo per address. At this time there is no limit to how many IPs a VM can have; however we may ask for justification if a large number is requested.

Windows is available at no additional cost on our KVM & storage designated plans :)
